DISCOVERY
Eco-exploration abounds at GreenWood, offering a family experience
unlike any other. Follow the Tree Name Trail to learn all about
the different tree species at GreenWood, or meet our animals –
peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies. Head indoors to the
Medieval style Great Hall and you’ll find a fascinating exhibition
full of interactive features – make music from wood, experience
a dusty desert, and enter an African Nomad Hut. The Great Hall itself
is a natural wonder, built from 40 tons of green oak, and the first
building of its kind to be built in North Wales for at least 400
years.
SEASONAL
FUN
No two visits to GreenWood are alike thanks to special seasonal
events, be it an Easter Eggstravaganza or a Hallowe’en Spooktacular.
Join in on arts and crafts to create a unique memento of your day
out, or try your hand at something unusual – how about Maypole
dancing or circus skills?
During the summer months, take a seat in the open-air Forest Theatre
and prepare to be dazzled by our lively entertainers. Marvel at
magic, pirate and comedy shows that are suitable for the whole family.

RELAX
Even the most eager forest explorers need a break from time to time!
Poets’ Corner – new for 2010 – is a little haven
away from the bustle of the Park, where you can encounter the very
best of Welsh poetry in total tranquillity. If you’re looking
to refuel, our catering facilities provide ample choice –
pick up a quick bite at one of our Snack Bars, or visit the Conservatory
Café for the full menu. There are several picnic areas dotted
around the Park so if you wish, you can eat al fresco.
In the Great Hall you’ll find two Gift Shops offering a range

Welsh lovespoons and a wide range of souvenirs.
